About
I’ve been working in digital marketing for a decade now, having started my freelance copywriting journey back in 2016. At that time I was studying an Advanced Diploma of Screenwriting & Script Editing at RMIT Melbourne. I continued to grow my freelance client base and in 2018 I moved to London, where I remained for two years. In that time I continued to freelance while also working in primary education.
I returned to Melbourne in 2020 (good timing!) and began to further my skills in SEO and website maintenance. Since then, my freelance career has gone from strength to strength, and has included stints as a contractor with Reload Media in Brisbane, as an SEO specialist. These days I work with a broad range of businesses, including construction, services, hospitality, ecommerce and more.
My Journey
Senior Administrator
2012-2016
My corporate career kicked off at Superpartners (then LINK Group), as a senior administration in superannuation transactions. While I remained focus on building a career in writing, working at Superpartners was a fantastic welcome to the professional workforce.
Content Specialist & Copywriter
2016-2020
My freelance career began in content and copy, producing blog articles, landing page content, newsletters, emails, video scripts and more, for a range of clients around the world.
SEO Consultant & Content Strategist
2020-Present
I progressed into SEO and content strategy in 2020, and began working with more clients in construction, design, property and services.
This period also included a year long stint with Reload Media as an SEO specialist, and various contracting work with other Australian digital marketing agencies (OMG, 7 Clients, more).
